Practicing orthodontics since 1982, Dr. Joe H. Farrar graduated from the University of Alabama in Birmingham with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Denver General Hospital and an Orthodontic Residency at Emory University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Farrar is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics and maintains memberships with such organizations as the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, North Carolina Association of Orthodontists, Henderson County Dental Society and the Seattle Study Club.
He remains active in his community. Dr. Farrar offers free clinics, and participates in various mission trips, including a dental mission trip to Tanzania and an orthodontic mission trip to Israel. During his leisure time, he enjoys watching college football, playing golf and sailing.
